My criminal law experience began when I opened my first law office located in the Morgan Keegan Building in Memphis, Tennessee. Due to my success in the area of criminal law I was appointed as an Assistant United States Public Defender. I held that position for approximately 10 years prior to moving back to East Tennessee to help with my dying parents.
As an Assistant Federal Public Defender, I had several trials in a month. I am familiar with the criminal justice system in Jefferson County, Hamblen County, and surrounding counties. My job as a criminal attorney is to provide the "zealous representation" in the canons of ethics. In addition to seeing my clients receive a defense against illegal search warrants and other unlawful actions in the result of an arrest.
